We took a break from the crowded Nyali beach and spent an afternoon in the safari alike park, Haller Park. It is the largest animal sanctuary in Mombasa and provides an eco-system for the animals which live there, many of which have been rescued or homeless.

Walking in the past, Old Town Mombasa

Old Town is located near the Fort Jesus in Mombasa city, it’s part of Mombasa that is reminiscent of the days when the Arabs exerted a heavy influence on the town and  the architecture.

Chilling out on Diani Beach

After spending a few days sightseeing in Mombasa city we decided to head to Diani beach for a retreat. When we arrived Diani beach I was captured by the breath-taking beach scene. A miles long beach with white gleaming sand and turquoise water. The sand in Diani beach was extremely fine. It’s truly a perfect chill-out spot to spend a couple long and lazy days.

Paradise in the jungle! Cenote Ik-Kil, Mexico

The porous limestone shelf of this region with its subterranean system of rivers and lakes create this unique geologic feature. There are over 3000 cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula. The cenotes are freshwater and they are mostly very deep that formed due to erosion. Cenote Ik Kil is considered to be one of the most beautiful cenotes in Yucatan. It´s located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula, about 3 km from Chichén Itzá.
